Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Hospital IQ, Rich uses technology to limit waste in the healthcare industry and help hospitals provide outstanding care to as many patients as possible. He has a proven track record of developing and commercializing new technologies, and has been directly involved in software products that continue to solve major industry problems and generate over $100m per year in revenue. Prior to joining Hospital IQ, Rich was the founder and CEO of DynamicOps, a cloud automation software company that was acquired by VMware in 2012. He also held executive roles at companies like Incipient, Continuum Software, Conley Corporation, and Discreet Logic’s Stone+Wire Division.
Rich earned his MBA and MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS from Rutgers University.
Chief Medical Officer
As Chief Medical Officer of Hospital IQ, Dr. Lovett provides a clinical and hospital operations perspective to product development, client success and business development. He is a practicing emergency physician and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Prior to Hospital IQ, he served as medical director at a large academic emergency department, medical director for patient flow at a three-hospital academic health system, and was chief medical officer for a large, urban academic medical center. He has published and presented nationally on improving patient flow in hospitals and health systems.
Dr. Lovett received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and completed a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He also holds an MBA from Columbia University.
As SVP, Engineering of Hospital IQ, Tim builds and manages high-performance engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions by harnessing the power of complex methodologies. He has a proven track record for improving operational efficiency while working at McKinsey & Company, Dell, and consulting for Boston-area hospitals. He has served in key technical and product leadership roles at EMC, Iron Mountain and Google. As an MIT Fellow in the Leaders for Global Operations program, he won the Best Thesis award for his work in improving operational efficiency using analytics, optimization, and intuitive visualizations.
Tim earned his MS and MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his AB from Harvard University.
SVP, Business Development
As the SVP, Business Development of Hospital IQ, JD builds and nurtures relationships with leading healthcare software companies and top healthcare consulting firms. He has deep experience in building effective sales and operational teams. Throughout his career, he has created and scaled partnerships for companies like GlassHouse Technologies, Lexalytics, Bluefish Communications, and LightSpeed Software.
JD holds his MBA from Cornell University and his BA from Trinity College in Connecticut.
Ben is VP, Solutions of Hospital IQ and brings over 20 years of experience in delivering innovative and disruptive consumer products to market. He manages the transformation of raw customer data into actionable changes in healthcare operations. Prior to Hospital IQ, he was co-founder and CTO of Ambient Devices and has led software and design teams for Disney, The Simpsons, Warner Brothers/Looney Tunes, Sesame Street, and Paramount.
Ben received his MAS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab and his BA from Cornell University.
VP, Product Management
As VP, Product Management, Jason is the driving force behind Hospital IQ’s product strategy. He brings more than 10 years of experience in healthcare technology, data and analytics, and product management. Prior to joining Hospital IQ, he was the head of strategy and business development for TeleTracking Technologies, where he developed product strategy and strategic launches for the company’s product portfolio.
Jason holds a BS from the University of Pittsburgh.
Cheryle is VP, Marketing and oversees marketing and public relations efforts for Hospital IQ. With more than 20 years of experience, she has developed strategic integrated marketing programs that drive strong customer engagement via direct and indirect sales channels. She has led marketing teams for companies like OneCloud Software, Infinio Systems, Raptor Systems, Interliant, Seahorse BioScience and EqualLogic.
Cheryle earned her BS from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
