Inside Sales Representative

Hospital IQ is seeking a healthcare inside sales representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in an inside sales or lead generation role. You must be a self-starter who thrives under pressure, works well with a team, and knows how to move sales opportunities towards closing. The Inside Sales Representative will perform as part of a sales team for the Hospital IQ platform on a set of named accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Foster new opportunities and advance them through the sales funnel towards close
  • Understand opportunity-specific sales strategies and work to execute them across the company and potential clients
  • Work with prospects to define and prioritize key use cases and corresponding ROIs
  • Maintain pipeline using Salesforce.com to track and manage all opportunities and report to the Chief Commercial Officer on a weekly basis
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of inside sales or lead generation experience, preferably selling software to health systems
  • Strong business acumen
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • The ability to navigate complex sales processes and master the Hospital IQ platform
  • Strong presentation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience
  • Technologically savvy
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience selling into the perioperative/surgical venue
  • Experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) models of software packaging/deployment

  • Successful in a high-volume sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines, and closing business
  • A proven sales hunter and closer of enterprise software in hospitals
  • Committed to operating with a sense of urgency, being a team player, and having a positive winning attitude
  • Detail oriented, resourceful, and diligent in maintaining account data and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce.com
  • Experienced in generating leads from trade shows and regional networking events
  • Able to conduct face-to-face sales meetings; possess excellent presentation and follow-up skills
  • Competitive and consistently meet/exceed sales quotas, have a positive attitude and incredible work ethic
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: ambitious, curious, innovative, collaborative, team player, and never satisfied with mediocrity
Work Environment:
  • Office environment and remote options available
  • This role requires travel (approximately 50%)
