Client Outcomes Advisor

We are seeking a Client Outcomes Advisor to partner with clients as they embark on a journey transforming their clinical and business operations through technological solutions in the perioperative space. The client partnership begins with an operational assessment led by a Client Outcomes Advisor to provide concrete use cases that help clients understand who will be engaged and how the solution will be embedded into daily activities. Post-implementation, the Client Outcomes Advisor will develop, implement and manage successful perioperative product optimization strategies across assigned accounts, ensuring adoption and application of best practice, creating a foundation for account growth.

This role combines consultative, analytical, and application knowledge to evaluate the needs of clients and translate opportunities for improvement into solutions that are effective and have measurable results. The Client Outcomes Advisor will interact with all aspects of the company including sales, clinical solutions, implementation, product management, data science, engineering and marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Master the use of Hospital IQ perioperative products to understand how to solve operational problems presented by prospects
  • Assist the commercial team in pre-sales and/or upsell strategy and drive the development of compelling deliverables for hospital and health system executives to clearly articulate future state
  • Lead operational assessments inclusive of clinical and operational stakeholder interviews, review of perioperative scheduling workflow and evaluation of operations management processes to identify opportunities for Hospital IQ products and services, convert the prospect, and prime implementation to deliver the agreed-upon value to the client
  • Enable seamless handoffs with clients as they transition to implementation, maintaining a brand experience rooted in perioperative subject matter expertise and client service professionalism. Provide guidance to implementation team as they deliver platform workflows and features according to contracted scope
  • Maintain a strong relationship with client through onsite visits, recurring business reviews and other touchpoints to further support optimization of perioperative solutions
  • Engage in broad range conversations with executives to frontline staff to understand operational goals, as well as the daily workflows that contribute to inefficiencies and misaligned teams
  • Ensure that the platform drives the expected value and return on investment agreed upon with the client
  • Consult with clients in strategic roadmapping exercises to align desired goals with product development, engaging in executive level discussions to communicate progress on key operational objectives
  • Collaborate with product management to enhance the existing platform and develop new features to streamline perioperative workflows
  • Leverage change management practices to support clients embedding product features in operational practices
  • Proactive communication of new use cases and/or best practice application from clients, supporting cross-client communication and HIQ-sponsored roundtable events
  • Prepare and lead internal account reviews and strategic planning sessions of assigned accounts
  • Lead case study development, tracking outcomes and impact for marketing content
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years experience in hospital operations with experience in perioperative services and analytics
  • Understanding of common workflows, policies and procedures across the perioperative departments
  • Ability to interpret data insights used to support a performance improvement agenda
  • Strong analytical background with experience in Excel
  • Experience in storyboard design and building customized presentations
  • Skilled in delivering illustrative and engaging presentations to executive-level audiences
  • Excellent organizational, research, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage and self-motivate within a remote work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in a consulting role
  • Experience deploying complex IT solutions or managing the implementation of large projects
  • Direct operational or clinical experience in perioperative areas
  • Programming experience with languages such as Python and SQL
Work Environment:
  • Office environment and remote options available
  • This role requires moderate travel (30%-40%)
