Senior Director, Sales

Hospital IQ is seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional/leader to join our team as a Senior Director, Sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record exceeding quota and developing customer accounts in a fast-paced, high growth environment. You must be a self-starter who thrives under pressure, has exceptional networking and client acquisition skills, and can close deals.

The Senior Director will manage the full lifecycle of the sales processes for the Hospital IQ platform within a specific geographical region or set of named accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing relationships
  • Present company/solution to C-Suite executives
  • Work with prospects to define and prioritize key use-cases and corresponding ROIs
  • Conduct contract negotiations
  • Maintain pipeline using Salesforce.com to track and manage all opportunities and report to the CEO on a weekly basis

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales experience selling software to health systems
  • Strong business acumen, fluency with financial benefits when speaking to executives
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare, fluency with healthcare terminology
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, MBA or other advanced degrees a plus
  • The ability to navigate complex sales processes and master the Hospital IQ platform
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience
  • Experience in demonstrating product solutions to prospects and clients
  • Technologically savvy

  • A proven sales hunter and closer with experience in building a pipeline
  • Committed to operating with a sense of urgency and a positive winning attitude
  • Resourceful and diligent in maintaining account data and opportunity forecasting within Salesforce.com
  • Experienced in generating leads from trade shows and regional networking events
  • Able to conduct face-to-face sales meetings; possess excellent presentation and follow up skills
  • Competitive and consistently meet/exceed sales quotas, have a positive attitude and incredible work ethic
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: ambitious, curious, innovative, collaborative, team player, and never satisfied with mediocrity
