Top-Tier Academic Medical Center Selects Hospital IQ

Hospital IQ today announced that Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) has selected its Healthcare Optimization Platform (HOP), a state-of-the-art predictive analytics solution that improves decision making within the healthcare delivery system. The solution improves patient flow, optimizes resource utilization, and reduces waste in hospital environments thereby identifying significant opportunities to improve quality and reduce cost.
The Hospital IQ platform offers the ability to develop and measure key operational metrics, as well as a “what-if” engine, that assists organization in accelerating operational improvements. “We are continually seeking tools to improve the management of patient volume and flow while improving the quality of care for our patients,” said David McCready, Senior Vice President of Surgical and Procedural Services at BWH. “Specifically, we are looking for innovative ways to manage and optimize our operating room schedule and inpatient capacity to maximize efficiency and streamline the patient experience.”
